The ask
Marmite created a host of recipes to accompany their new TV ad that mocked the world of ‘haute cuisine’.
The recipes encouraged you to do more with your Marmite than just spread it on toast – we suggested you stick it in everything from burgers to soup.
The answer
The recipes – and characters – became the focus of a monthly Marmite newsletter .
Each newsletter introduced the idea of the recipe with a little chat from the TV ad frog & snail and then gave away the recipe in full.
Each recipe was written to be easy-to-follow, but stay true to the voices of the little cockney characters.
