E.ON second largest electricity supplier in the UK, but with negative perception at an all time high, any content by the brand was a target for angry comments and upset customers.

The brief: to make people think we’re not bastards
The answer: to show how E.ON were making a difference in their community as one of the Nottingham’s biggest employers and sponsor of Nottingham Forest Football Club, as well as being a force for good in the energy sector.

• Established presence on TikTok – 20 million impressions
• 250k minutes watched
• 12.5k engagements
• Gained 2,398 followers
• Increases in applause (likes and reactions) 243% and amplification (shares) at 625% – outperforming all competitors.
• Shifted from 10% overall positive sentiment to 52% overall positive sentiment
