Brightening up summer festivals with wearable art

The festival pop up

Desperados is a tequila-flavoured beer that gets the party started.
We gave festival goers a taste of the brand and a unique way to stand out (both in the dance tent and on their social feeds), with free, neon-glowing body marbling at the Desperados Paintworks pop-up.

A sampling activation masquerading as a party, Desperados Paintworks created a new spot to try out at UK festivals. Behind a chain-link fence, a curated lineup of DJs played from midday as the curious tried sip samples in a shipping container, before moving onto the body-marbling paint station.

Everyone got bright and beautiful with a free dip creating a personal, unique psychedelic pattern on their hands and arms topped with a Desperados temporary tattoo, showing their new love for the brand.

A UK festival first, the specially developed paints were all vegan-friendly, organic and safe for all skin types. They produced bright, unique patterns for the daytime, but also (and importantly for our festival goers) they glowed neon under the festival's UV lights after the sun went down. The result was a piece of wearable art, ready to be set free beyond the activation space into the festival.
